Meat Sticks and Sideless Taxis

Today we made a new friend! Well actually, Jeff made a new friend and then shared him with me and Clayton (as the three of us now do everything together). His name is Makoto and he is a Japanese exchange student who lives in the other part of our building. He took us to a place for dinner where you order lots of meat sticks (i think it's basically Chinese BBQ) and maked monto (bread)! It was amazing! Jeff and I ate the most...proving why Americans have the biggest rep. for being overweight! :)
Here's Clayton enjoying a delicious pork meat stick thingyThen we got a taxi back to campus...but not a normal taxi! it was one of those fabulous no door, no side taxis! think small scooter (that's the driver's part) with a little 4 seat cart on the back! it was great!! And as Clayton said in reference to Jeff's inquiry about the shocks...what shocks? I think the best part was when we went over a bump, got caught in a hole and almost stalled out...we blame it on all the pork Jeff ate!

Clayton and our new friend Makoto...apparently my flash was really bright and made everyone squint in the dark :)
